# About AI Dance > AI Dance turns one photo into a dance video. Canonical: https://danceaiapp.com/about Updated: 2026-10-06 Publisher: AI Dance (https://danceaiapp.com), by Applax Pte. Ltd. AI Dance turns one photo into a dance video. It is made by Applax Pte. Ltd., a company based in Singapore, and has been on the App Store and Google Play since January 2026 as "AI Dance Video - Baby Dancing". This website brings the same dances to your browser, with a page for every trend. ## Who makes AI Dance? AI Dance is made by Applax Pte. Ltd., a company based in Singapore. The app launched on the App Store in January 2026, during the AI baby dance wave, and on Google Play the same month. The App Store lists Applax Pte. Ltd. as the seller. This website now makes the videos too: every dance has its own page where you can create it from a photo, with no app needed. ## How are the videos made? Our pipeline uses AI motion transfer. Each dance template is a short reference clip of a real routine. When you upload a photo, an AI model finds the person or pet in it and moves that body through the routine frame by frame, keeping the face, the clothes and the background of your photo. The result is a 9:16 video, usually 10 to 20 seconds long. Our two-person template, Hotel Lobby, works a little differently: it places the two people from your photo into the template's own scene. That takes more computing, which is why it costs more credits. The example videos on this site are made with the same pipeline, using AI-generated people and pets, never real creators' footage. We do not add copyrighted music to any video; you add the sound yourself when you post. ## How do you treat my photos? Your photo is used only to make your video. We never show it to other users. Photos are stored in our cloud storage only to make your video. You can delete your videos, and you can ask support@danceaiapp.com to delete your data. We never post your videos anywhere: they stay in your account until you download or share them. Please upload only photos of yourself, your own children and pets, or people who agreed to it. The full details are in our [privacy policy](https://danceaiapp.com/privacy). ## How do you choose the dances? We follow TikTok, Instagram and the news and add a template when a dance is trending and works from a still photo. Every template page explains where the dance comes from, with dated sources, and our [trends page](https://danceaiapp.com/trends) is updated each month. When a trend fades, its page stays up, because people keep making the dances they love. ## How can I contact AI Dance? Email support@danceaiapp.com.
