"Big Guy" is Ice Spice's song for The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Its TikTok dance became one of the biggest trends of that winter: by January 16, 2026, Universal Music reported more than 4.1 billion views across 4.9 million TikTok creations, and the song reached No. 2 on TikTok's Trending Songs chart. The trend started as a solo flex to the "big guy" line, then grew a famous two-person version: one person stands behind the other and pokes their arms out to the sides, so the person in front seems to have giant, muscly arms. Then the two step apart and do the same hand moves side by side. Our template follows the side-by-side part of the routine: waving the hands in front of the chest and pushing them down toward the hips, with the flex attitude of the song. In US Google searches, "big guy dance" averaged a few thousand searches a month over the past year, with its peak in January 2026. ### The moves A confident flex on "big guy", then the hands wave in front of the chest and push down toward the hips, in time with the beat. Light, bouncy and a little silly, like the SpongeBob song. ## How to make the Big Guy video 1. **Add your photo.** Upload one clear photo of you or a friend, facing the camera, as much of the body in the frame as you can. 2. **Tap Make my video.** The Big Guy dance costs 2 credits. The AI copies the moves onto your photo while you wait, about a few minutes. 3. **Download and post.** You get a 11 second 9:16 MP4. Post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts and add the sound inside the app. ## Best photo for Big Guy - Use a full-body or thigh-up photo, standing, facing the camera. - Keep both arms clear and visible: the flex and the hand waves are the whole dance. - A sleeveless top or T-shirt makes the flex read better. - Pick a sharp photo in good light with a plain background. - One person per photo. The AI animates the biggest person in the frame. Avoid: - Group photos, or a second person cut off at the edge - Faces turned away, covered or in deep shadow - Blurry or very dark photos - Heavy filters, stickers or text on the photo ## Post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts - Your video comes without music. Add "Big Guy" by Ice Spice in TikTok or Reels. - Want the two-person illusion? Film it for real with a friend, and use the AI video as the solo part. - SpongeBob fans search by the movie, so mention it in the caption. Caption idea: Big guy energy.
